明星樂團大合奏 DX Jam With The Band is, at its core, one of those Beat Mania-style challenges where players must hit buttons to the beat of a song. As the music plays and the upper screen displays the meter timing, players hit any button on the system in time to when they're supposed to press it. Successfully hit the buttons at the proper time and they'll make beautiful music out of the system. Hit it at the wrong time, and you're just making nonsensical noise. Jam With the Band utilizes the wireless link so that multiple players can join in the same song, with each player adopting one of the song's key instruments. The idea is to successfully follow along with the measures as well as possible so that all the systems play their instruments with the proper note, pitch and timing...making music. Known as Band Brothers in Japan.
